Our Philosophy on Successful Hiring

Hiring the "highest caliber" medical personnel is essential in order to keep things running as smoothly and as efficiently as possible

What makes someone qualified to be in this category?

1) Of course the necessary qualifications and experience to be in his or her field.

2) A stable work history (job hoppers are a nightmare!)

3) A good work ethic: Not only is it important to find someone dependable and hardworking, but someone who is happy to pitch in wherever they are needed. A "team player" should have a good attitude and be easy to get along with. It is essential for co-workers to work well together to keep your patients feeling safe, comfortable and satisfied with the care they are receiving. Even if a patient thinks highly of their physician but is treated poorly by the staff they may leave and find care elsewhere. We have heard many stories of this nature in our 25 years in the field!

4) Excellent references: All of these issues must be addressed when doing a reference check. It does not matter what someone says they will do if given a chance. It only matters what they have done and how well they have done it!

Remember, keeping your salary and benefits competitive as well as providing a happy and healthy work environment will enable you to attract top-notch employees and in turn will keep your staff stable and your reputation for being a nice place to work intact.

Never underestimate the importance of this! If a private practice, hospital or any other type of medical facility gets a reputation for having poor employee morale and a high turnover rate, the amount of money spent each year to constantly replace personnel will be much more costly than putting simple methods in place to keep this from happening in the first place! In addition to this, advertising costs will increase substantially and will not be nearly as effective since high caliber medical professionals only want to work in facilities they know they will be happy working in. To make a long story short, it can take years to turn a medical facility`s reputation around if their reputation has fallen.
